Wellcome to discuss mobile web.2 ideas for the commons
Since 2005 I started to read some very interesting arguments from authors like Negri, Ito, Suorwiecki, Rheingold, Gillmore, Bauman, Levy, Castells and many others who are looking back and forward to our globilized, connected and disconnected world. I started to feel that a very new midia power was starting to find a place in the mass consumption.
If we take a very superficial glance at the web.2 theory and all the tecnical mobility that are increasing substancially in the so called underdeveloped countries and the concept of the power of the commons, we can see, in my opinion, a promissing way into a more inclusive, democratic globalized world in the forcomming 5 years.
I believe that the colaborative proposal aligned with the tecnical, low cost mobile communictions facilities are going to impact the actual disconected and powerless part of the world, the periferial communities. The "periferias" are already creating lots and lots of totaly new cultural expressions that already travel into the mainstream massmidia consumprion as trend. At the same time these communities will recieve globalized content and recreate regional versionings. Melting the tradicional, wellknown proved methods with the local way of feeling, living and understanting culture.
This blog is dadicated to all of you who would like to discuss the mobile commons colaborative possibilities to change our world into a more democratic and peacefull place to live and create values.
